Where are you located and can I see your work in person?
I live and work in the beautiful rolling hills about 30 minutes south of Nashville, TN. I don't have open studio hours, but if you’d like to schedule a visit, email firstname.lastname@example.org and we can make arrangements.
What kinds of materials do you use in your collages?
I create my painted collage paper from a wide variety of sources, including book pages, maps, scrap paper and hand made papers. These are painted with acrylic paint and torn or cut and assembled into a collage which may be fully painted paper or have a painted background and include non-painted paper. Typically, paper is applied over the edge of the wooden board and you can see these torn edges on the side of the panel in the finished piece. Each piece is finished with either a matte or satin top quality varnish for protection.
Where do you get your materials?
Everywhere! From my own attic, my son's graded homework, old maps, vacations and travel. For a digital society, we have mounds of paper that goes to waste each day and I'm happy to recycle some of it into my artwork. I often use old books (I try to read them first!) that relate to the subject of the piece.
Do you do commissions?
Yes, I do! Feel free to email me with an outline of your request. I can also often incorporate materials of your own into my pieces.
Is there a way I can get an idea what a piece would look like in my space?
Yes! Email a picture of your blank wall to email@example.com. Take a picture when you have the brightest and most even lighting possible. I'll then send you back a digital mockup of what your chosen piece would look like in your own space.
Do you work with interior designers?
Yes, I do. I have a B.S. degree in Interior Design and I'd love to place my art in your interiors. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and let's talk about your project(s).
I'm interested in carrying your work in my gallery or retail location or licensing an image. Do you wholesale or license your work?
Thanks for asking! Feel free to contact me about representation, licensing, or wholesale opportunities at email@example.com
How long does it take for me to receive my artwork?

Do you ship overseas?
